Paris Mountain Photography has been in business since 2006 and I have shot so many kids, families and weddings in the last 15 years! I'm so excited how far the business has come and can't wait to see where it takes me in the next 15 years!! I have a few seniors this year who I've shot many years ago so I put together a "then and now" blog to show how much they've grown!!! I love seeing these kiddoes grow into adults! I know I'm not their mom, but sometimes I get choked up when I see them all grown up!!

When I graduated from college over 20 something years ago I didn't have a ceremony because I graduated in December and I was broke and unable to travel back to my college. Sometimes I regret it especially when I get to see college graduated like Abbey who wears the cap and gown with pride at Kennessaw State University! I'm so proud of her and how ambitious she is working two jobs and finishing school. She's going somewhere!!!

I've been lucky enough to know the Kelly's for many years. We are members of the same church and aside from being the Mayor of Dallas, James Kelly is also the Bishop in my congregation. We've traveled together on humanitarian relief trips, attended church functions and even enjoyed a Halloween party or two. I was so excited when their daughter Lauren got married and asked me to take some family photos for them! Due to Covid, the couple had to elope in April, but we were able to get some sweet bride and groom photos at their Dallas home a few weeks ago!

This first photo is one of my favorites because Hannah looks like she is sitting in a beautiful field of lush grass for her senior portrait session. But in reality she is crouching between just two landscape shrubs in front of a reception hall. Photography can be anything you make it. People are always worried about the perfect location, but I've shot in parking garages, junk yards, and the grandest of ballrooms. With the right angles and perspective, any location can make a great photograph. It's just in the eye of the photographer to take notice!!
