Engagement Session on the creek | Atlanta Wedding Photographer

There are no words to explain how excited I was when Hope got engaged.  Okay, I know she was probably pretty excited too but for realz!!!  I met Hope years ago when one of my associate photographers shot one of her brothers' wedding, then I shot her other brother's wedding a couple of  years later.  Now it's Hope's turn and she made my day when she said I was the first thing she booked after the proposal!!!!  Their engagement  session was so nice! It was a short hike through the woods, then skipping rocks on a cool fall afternoon! It couldn't have been more perfect and chill, just like Hope and Kurt.   ** Side note **  Kurt was named after Kurt Russell.... only my favorite actor of all time - other than Harrison Ford.  But Kurt is easier to spell than Harrison! HAHAH!!  :D

When Cody came to view her photos she gave me the best compliment ever! She told me that usually in a session with other photographers she only liked a few, but with me she loved every single photo and will never go to anyone else again!  It made my heart swoon!!! I love them too! Her session went so perfectly on their family farm.  And even though Wyatt didn't smile for every single photo, he still stole my heart with those baby blues!!!! :D

When I met Emily and her mom we hit it off like old friends!  Our meetings lasted twice as long as normal because we just chatted and chatted. When I saw "we" it was probably me! HAHA!  But we truly connected!  And Emily's wedding day was no different! I felt like we were  just old buddies getting together for a big party! It was a wonderful day. And even with a little bit of rain, it was a magical day full of laughter, friends and fun!!!!

Who says you can't get great photos on a rainy day!!  We were definitley cutting it close with mother nature that day, but with time off of work, and HMU appointments scheduled, we decided to take a chance with the rain!  And it totally paid off! We got that cool foggy look, and the sun even popped out for a second!! :D  Morgan and Kevin's engagement pictures turned out soft and romantic!
