We had so much at Emily Anne's senior portrait session at her school in Rome. It was super hot but we rolled with it. It was such a beautiful setting at Darlington, but what got us was Christopher the school swan. He did not like us shooting on his lawn and pretty much sent us running across the field. It was so funny and we left her session giggling all the way home!!!

What's funny about the 80's is when we were growing up making mixed tapes, playing Pac-man at the arcade, roller skating after school and watching MTV we had no idea how cool we actually were! We were just living our best life and now the 80's is considered "vintage." Yikes! Does that make me vintage?!?! Team 22 truly had fun embracing the rad-est decade ever!!! The class of 2022 is like totally excellent!!

Also, I thought I would include an actual photo of me from 1987!! I showed my daughter and she said,

"Wow, Mommy! Did you dress like that un-ironically?"

Yes, Emily.... Yes I did!! I thought I looked really cool!

When I meet new seniors each year I wonder how on earth they could possibly be better than the year before. Then I get to know each of them and I realize they are all awesome!! I love working with high school seniors and their families. I love getting to spend time with people during these heartfelt milestones and share their memories. Since I have two in college now I get to laugh and sometimes cry with them about our babies growing up! I have definitely found my place in the photography world. I love senior portraits!! Haley and her family were so amazing to get to work with!!! Her photos are awesome!!!

Most guys get their senior portraits done for mom. They're usually very nice, polite and follow directions well. And after most sessions they tell me it wasn't as bad as they thought it would be and some even had some fun shooting their favorite sport. But Cody!!!! Let's just stop for a minute and look at how amazing Cody's senior portraits are!! He was so pumped about his senior session and all of the cool things we were doing for his portraits!! I love his session on SO many levels, but I think he's got me at the pink suit!!!! What do you think!!
