There are so many things I can say about Gerald and Ana's portrait session that made me so happy! First of all, they found me on good old Google! How lucky am I!!! He said he called around and couldn't find a photographer who would take their family portraits AND shoot some bride and groom images. He told me that they did not have any good photos from their wedding many years ago and wanted to do a reshoot. Ana and Gerald told me about other photographer's that they've used in the past and were skeptical about photography, so when they said they were so happy and the photos turned out way better than they imagined, it made me so happy! Their first comment when they saw their couple's photos was, "Yay! We finally have wedding photos!!!" I also heard them say to each that they were "so happy the photos actually look like themselves!" WOW! What a compliment! Lastly, when they booked me, they were worried about posing and direction. I assured them that I direct a lot!! Most of my clients are not professional models and I give lots of direction. They said they were so comfortable during the session and so happy that I told them what to do! Even the kids had a great time they said! I'm SO thrilled to hear about my happy client experiences! I feel so validated for myself, but also so happy for them that I was able to gain back their confidence in photography!!! :D

What an honor it was to be asked to photography Marisa and Jake's wedding in Saratoga Springs, Utah. Marisa's mom is a childhood friend of mine and asked me to come to Utah for her daughter's wedding in the LDS temple! I told her I would only do it if we get to take some photos at the Salt Flats! HAHA! And they said yes! It was such an amazing experience to travel to Utah for their wedding, get to see old friends, and get to shoot some beautiful backdrops!!

North Paulding High School Senior Portrait Photographer | Acworth GA Photographer

It's such a compliment to me when people tell me they don't love getting their portrait made, or they think they're not photogenic. I love a challenge to change their thinking. I was so thrilled when Ella's mom texted me after her two hour senior portrait session and said that Ella usually hates pictures and she dared to say she even had FUN with me! Yipee!!!! When they saw her photos I loved seeing their faces light up and tell me the ones they love and she even called herself beautiful! I'm so happy for me, but more for her! I love when a young woman can see their beauty that everyone else sees. Her mom said she may only like photos of herself as long as I take them, hahah! That's ok with me too!! Ella is such a beauty and I'm so excited to post these to share it with everyone!!!
