Senior Portraits Paulding County High School | Senior Boy Plays Piano

November 20, 2019 • 2 Comments

When that cool kid arrives at your senior portrait session... I go back to high school where I was the opposite of cool. I was the nerdy Asian girl with glasses and braces. Yes, I was a good student = Asian!! But I was so awkward around the cool kids. But the even cooler thing about Brennen is that he's super nice and so cool that he doesn't even realize that he's cool! That's so cool! And what I loved the most about his session is when his mom got three of his friends to haul that 10 ton piano into a field for some pretty epic photos. Because what makes Brennen yet even cooler!!!!???? He's a classical pianist! I was shocked at his talent, so we HAD to get that piano in some of his shots!!! It was a feat, but totally worth it!!!!

Chateau Elan Wedding | Georgia Vineyard Wedding Photographer | Rain on your wedding day

You know when they say "Rain is good luck on your wedding day!" Sarah and Arash don't need any luck because they are the most loving couple I think I've ever photographed! But they are blessed with endless good luck because their wedding day was up there with one of the most rainy wedding's I've ever shot!! But that didn't put a damper on their special day! (see what I did there - get it - damper - HAHA!) We had to get creative with portrait locations, but their wedding was a beautiful event and nothing could keep them from giggling together all night long! I'm glad they got all of that "good luck" but I don't think they really needed it! :D Congrats Sarah and Arash!!

Teen Model | Girl's Basketball | Darlington School | Rome Senior Portrait Photographer

The funny thing is Caroline is a super sweet unsuspecting girl. In her planning session she was so quiet and looked like the girl next door. As we walked out her mom said to me, " Don't worry. She will turn it on for the session." I wasn't worried. I work with seniors with all kinds of personalities. From the girl who is super outgoing and tells me her whole life story to the guy who literally doesn't say one word to me the whole hour! I'm always able to get the best from them! I love it when I had a quiet boy's mom tell me that she was so excited that I got the "real" him in his senior portraits! So, I wasn't worried. But BOY WAS SHE RIGHT!!! Caroline basically showed up at her session as a supermodel. She was so easy to direct and really has "the look!" I'm soooo excited to share the photos from her senior portrait session!!! AND we included a few basketball shots since she already committed to her college!!!

The thing I like the most about Macy is she is literally the girl next door. She is quiet but fierce, simple but glamorous, lovely but strong!! She event went deer hunting just yesterday! She doesn't usually wear makeup and doesn't need it, but Glamour Affair made her look like a supermodel!!! I'm so excited to share her senior portraits!!
