When Evie came to my studio for her senior portrait reveal she brought her entire family. Mom joked that the grandparents would be crying and they needed tissues, till the music played and her pictures showed up on the big screen. Then guess who had the biggest tears? Yep, you guessed it, mom. I know I've done my job when everyone is in tears. I'm so glad they all loved Evie's photos as much as I do!!! :D

Veronica lives all the way across town but she came to me for her family portraits and head shots. When my daughter was in Los Angeles for her photography internship she put together several amazing photo shoots in and around the LA area! I was lucky enough to be her chauffer and she gave me permission to snap a few shots of my own! Frankly her photos are much better, but I'm glad I got to have fun a little shooting over her shoulder!

Cereatha is one of those strong women business owners out there, but at the same time she's soft spoken and sweet as can be. She owns CTO Bridal and Prom Dress Boutique. I've been lucky enough to have worked with her for nearly a decade! She's always willing to collaborate and participate anytime we do photo shoots, bridal shows and other creative ideas! She had helped me dress my two daughters for prom and I got to shoot her own daughter's senior portraits and her family photos! I love knowing amazing women like Cereatha and I hope we get to work together just as much if not more in the future!!!

Street Photography | Santa Monica Pier | LA Photography | Model
I got to go to LA last week with my daughter/photography nemesis!!! We were so excited to take photos in LA and one day we decided to have a contest on how many people we could shoot at Santa Monica Pier. We split up for about one and a half hours and searched for our victims, I mean models!!! It was so much fun to really put yourself out there and ask perfect strangers to photograph them. I loved chatting with people and learning about them, and my most favorite part was when some of them told me it really made their day that I asked them. One was even a mom and she dressed up to go to the pier with her kids and she was so flattered!! Another, was a girl who was graduating and was so excited to be a model for a minute! And of course, we can't forget the bulldog. Okay... he was my favorite!!!
