Grant was such a great senior to work with. He knew what he wanted to for his senior portraits.  As a cross country runner he wanted to include his sport along with some cool shots in a small town.  We did just that!  It was a long hot session but when I showed him the back of my camera at the end of the session he was happy.  My favorite part was when I watched mom see the photos for the first time at their ordering appointment.  Yes, I watch you!! HAHA!   She was ready to see how they turned out and had a curious look to begin with.  Then she would smirk from time to time.  At one point she looked over at Grant and nudged him at one of her favorite photos.  By the time her slideshow was over she was smiling from ear to ear.  I was so happy to see them enjoying their portraits!!!

Colin was like most guys when it came to senior portraits. He was doing it to make mom happy. And he certainly did a great job!  Even though he clearly wasn't a huge fan of getting his picture taken he was still a polite young man and followed directions perfectly. Even when I told him to run his fingers through his hair.  He told me he was dreading that shot! So of course I made him do it.  The great thing about Colin's session is we had a ton of fun! And even at the end, while he was threatening to throw water balloons at his mom, he said it wasn't that bad and wanted to keep hitting!  His session turned out amazing and his family will always cherish these memories of his final year at school!

You can add a family portrait session to any Senior portrait session! I've been shooting Jennae's family for almost a decade!!  Now that Griffin is off in college I'm so happy I still get to see them at least once a year for photos!
