Rocks, Cliffs, Sunset Views | Epic Engagement Session

I'm always on the lookout for an epic location for engagement sessions. Maddison showed me some of her favorite photos of gorgeous places, but they were mostly in the Rocky Mountains. But then she told me that her fiancee was working in Birmingham, AL. So we decided to find a perfect location between Georgia and Alabama, and this is what we came up with! I think it turned out pretty epic!!

I shoot a lot of weddings out in the country. If anyone can photograph a wedding in a field, with a barn, grass and even some cows or horses mixed in I'm your girl! So when Ellee said her wedding was going to be in Decatur at Wahoo Grill and we're doing pictures at the Old Historic Decatur Courthouse in the Square, boy oh boy was I excited! I love shooting at new locations with new backdrops! It was so much fun walking down the street in the square and finding hidden treasures to shoot their wedding pictures! I had a great time and I love how classy the photos turned out with this city wedding!

They say that rain on your wedding day is good luck! I would agree! Morgan and Kevin's wedding was definitely rainy, but it was such a wonderful day and we were able to get some pretty amazing photos despite the bad weather. I have a lot of brides worry about rain on their wedding day. But fear not! Sometimes rainy weather make for some creative photos. And even gives a mood that makes your wedding day unique! So don't fret! When there's rain in the forecast on your big day, rest assured, if you have a good photographer, you have nothing to worry about! And soak in all of that good luck!

Class of 2019 Senior Portraits Booking NOW!

It seems like it's too soon, but now is the time to book your class of 2019 senior portraits! Often times the yearbook pictures are due by September or October and I usually book about two months in advance. SO, if you're planning to put some of your epic senior photos in the yearbook, then booking right now for May-August is perfect!
