I love shooting different sports and hobbies, so when a high school senior asks me if I can include cool photos of their extracurricular activities, I'm SO ready!!! GraceAnn wanted to include her swimming and cheer activities. I was so excited because I love pushing the limits of lighting and photography!!! It was HOT and humid that day... it even rained in the middle of her session, but that indoor swimming pool was even more hot and humid than outside!! But that didn't stop us from getting a few really epic swim photos for her!!!

It's one thing to be a beautiful girl and amazing model. But it's another thing to be super sweet and an all round awesome person. I'd have to say that about all of Abby's family. They are so sweet and I've been taking their family's photos for years!! I couldn't wait till Abby was a senior. I can't believe how much she's grown. Literally! She's so tall!!! her senior portrait in Atlanta are simply amazing!!!

Swaye was the cover model for My Generation Magazine a few years ago and I'm SO excited she's a senior now!! We had such an amazing time at her session. Dodging traffic, walking the streets of Atlanta and sneaking on top of a parking garage before the rain comes in! Swaye is an amazing model and such an awesome young lady! Her excitement when she saw her photos totally made my day!!

The weather in Georgia is always something we need to work around when shooting senior portraits!! I love a sunny day, I don't mind a cloudy day, and I'm no stranger to shooting in the rain at weddings and other events. So when it comes to a senior portrait session, I'd rather reschedule, but there are just some days that are so unpredictable you can't help what mother nature throws at you! Maggie's session looked like it was going to have good weather, but Georgia rain didn't respect our shoot time and came in last minute. Luckily for us, half of her session was indoors so we started there, and when it stopped raining we ran outside, then ran back in when it started to pour again! Maggie and her mom were good sports and we got some great shots, but we had to postpone the rest of her session to another day since we wanted to get in the water and it was too high and muddy!! Again, Maggie and her mom didn't mind getting back together with me to finish her senior session and we got some amazing shots!!! I'm so grateful for patient people who understand that I just can't control mother nature! But sometimes during the dog days of summer I wish she and I were on better terms!!

Shooting senior portraits really is my calling! I LOVE working with high school seniors for so many reasons. They really keep me young!! I love their energy and youthful joy!! Tori was so sweet, after her session she sent me a message to let me know how much fun she had and how her session made her feel so confident!! I loved that!! She made my day! If I can have even the smallest bit of an influence on my seniors to help them on their journey, then feel like I'm truly successful! Even better, when she came in for her reveal, mom cried. They loved their photos and their excitement just made me so happy!!! Someone once said that a true measure of success is doing something you love!! I can honestly say that's me!!!!
