Barnsley Gardens Engagement Session

When people ask me where my favorite location to shoot is I have a hard time answering that question because I have so many that I love. But, Barnsley Garden's Resort has definitely got to be up there in the top 10 locations!! It pretty much has everything, cute cottages, rolling fields, old ruins, bamboo forest, and beautiful gardens!! So when Courtney and David booked their engagement session there I was thrilled!!! I'm SUPER excited about their wedding next year at Foxhall!!!

Amanda and Graben looked like cake toppers on their wedding day and I just couldn't stop taking pictures of them!!! Every time she looked down, looked up, looked at the camera...anything I was clicking away!! Sometimes having the perfect couple make my job so easy and this wedding was just that! The day went so smoothly, even the rain came in just in the right time to cool things off and everyone was so incredibly nice and fun! If every wedding could be this perfect I would shoot them every single day of the week!! :D Congrats!!!

It was nearly a year ago when Dawn purchased a gift certificate for her 14 year old daughter for Christmas for a portrait session with her sweet horse! After having to reschedule due to rain two different times we finally got to shoot her session and the weather was perfect!!! It was SO sweet to capture their friendship and I'm SO glad they will always have these photos as they grow up together!!!

Shooting weddings isn't always about just taking pictures! It's about making connections, building relationships and forming bonds! I was lucky enough to have shot Courtney's cousin, Kayla's wedding, a couple of years ago, so when we all got back together for her wedding it was like seeing family!!!! I wasn't "just the photographer." Everyone was so happy to see me and we chatted, laughed and even teared up together all day long! It was a beautiful day for Courtney and Chase's wedding at Stone Creek Inn. And they deserved every bit of it!
